Franco is there way for you guys to output the normal guide data as the enhanced guide? To save us from having to remap the channels.

Hi Tehre,

Unfortunately there is no way for us to do that at this stage.

Unfortunately one of the third-party software has expired and the lack of support on getting a license renewal from them, left us no choice but to develop an alternative utility.

You've got to see the irony in this...it pays to have your subscription renewed in time to prevent disruption in service.

The Enhanced Guide was update on 14/7/2010 and should now contain data again. Please perform a manual guide update from within the MCEGuide client to ensure that you receive the latest listings.

Regards,

Franco

Brilliant! Thanks gentlemen. I didn't even have to do a manual update - picked it up on auto.

Hi guys,

Thanks for sorting it out.

Guide is all up and running and full of data and domestic harmony is restored!

Cheers.

Hi Woody,

I don't expect the Enhanced guide to be available before the weekend. We are also running behind schedule with the TopTV guide and might need to postpone that as well.

Regards,

Franco

OK, so we can switch to the regular guide and remap all our channels. That's a time consuming pain in the arse, but better than nothing. I just don't want to do it and then find out this afternoon that the enhanced guide is back up & running and then have to put everything back. Sorry to nag, but can anyone give us an estimate for how much more time it's going to take you all to get the enhanced guide back up?

Grrrrr.....just remapped the channelsl last night to use the normal guide as i did'nt want to miss any recordings this weekend........fortunately only remapped about half of the available channels and was surprised to see that the channels i left alone were updated automatically!...back to remapping ....sigh.
Anyways...thanks Franco :)
