I am running Windows Vista Ultimate and I use a VideoMate U2800F TvTuner (
http://www.comprousa.com/en/product/u2800f/u2800f.html) which is MCE vista compliant and even comes bulded with the MCE remote.

I installed the MCEGUIDE.CO.ZA software, and started the process for setting up the TV signal.
I chose Antenna > Analog (PAL) and then selected yes for the guide procedures, etc.
I scanned for channels (my DSTV PVR TV1 channel is 53 (727.250 MHz) and TV2 on channel is 46 (671.250 MHz)).
MCE can not find any signals!
I checked using the bundled custom software and can see the TV1 & TV2 signals.
I do not have a SABC antenna connected to this setup, only the 2 PVR TV channels.
Any ideas as to what I can do to get MCE to find the signals, or
if I am not setting MCE up correctly to work with DSTV SD PVR please let me know which options to set.
BTW: The guide is displayed in MCE now without any problems, except that there is no TV signal conencted to any of the channels
